Abby is the Executive Director of MBA Career Services. She joined Haas as the Director of Career Services in 2000 after spending ten years in the technology industry. She has worked in marketing, product management and sales positions for Intel, Electronic Arts, and Embark (Princeton Review). Abby holds a BA from UC Berkeley, where she majored in Political Economy of Industrial Societies and an MBA from the Kellogg School, where she focused on marketing and finance.
Abby leads a talented team of individuals who coach and connect MBA students with career resources, and she maintains a strong network of personal and professional contacts, particularly in the areas of technology, financial services and consumer products. Abby was honored with an outstanding staff award in 2002, and later the same year, she was a recipient of the UC Berkeley Excellence in Management award.

Pat DeMasters joined the Haas School of Business in 2006 as Director of Career Services for the Evening & Weekend MBA Program, the Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program and MBA alumni. Prior to Haas, she was the senior director for the North Bay practice of Spherion Human Capital Consulting where she focused on coaching and/or advising senior- and mid-level clients from financial services, biotech, consumer products and technology industries. She has 15 years experience in Human Capital Consulting which includes career transition/outplacement, career development, training, & program development serving clients in the Bay Area, US and abroad.
Pat has a Masters degree in Career Development from JFK University and an undergraduate degree in Organization Behavior from the University of San Francisco. Throughout her career, Pat has been very involved with organizations such as the Association of Career Professionals International (ACPI), Financial Women’s Association (FWA) and multiple human resources groups where she held office or participated on committees.

John is a certified Executive Coach from the Hudson Institute. Prior to establishing the Haas MBA alumni and Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA career services programs, he was a Senior Consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison providing career transition services for Fortune 100 companies in the finance, bioscience, telecommunications, public utility, and healthcare industries. He is a small business owner and has worked as a corporate recruiter and in the retained search field as an executive recruiter. He has held a variety of positions at the national director and management level in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
He has earned an MA in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, Graduate School of Management and has a BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from Humboldt State University. John is on the advisory board for the Association of Career Professionals International.

Ainka is a UC Berkeley alumna, from the College of Letters & Science. She holds an MBA from Wharton, where she majored in Entrepreneurship, Operations and Strategy with a focus on Global Business, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from NYU. Most recently Ainka worked at The Gap where she was Manager of Operations, Recruiting & Staffing. She has held various manager roles in retail, telecommunications, non-profits and on Wall Street. Her experience includes work in recruiting, advising, diversity, training and development, merchandising, process improvement, project/change management, strategy and business development.
She is an INROADS Alumna from the NYC affiliate and the San Francisco Bay area alumni contact. For almost ten years Ainka has been an active member of NBMBAA and NSHMBA. She is a member of 85 Broads and NAFE and has been an active volunteer with The All Stars Project Inc., Girls Inc. and other organizations focused on the arts and youth development.

Jeanne has 15+ years in marketing and management consulting successfully introducing products and programs across the financial services, technology and consumer packaged goods sectors. Her professional career began in strategic, systems and litigation consulting with Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Services. Currently, she is a marketing and strategy consultant advising clients in strategic marketing and branding, and product development and implementation initiatives. Her educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from UCLA's Anderson School.

Prior to joining Haas in 2002, Gael was the Career Resource Manager at Thunderbird School of Global Management where she managed student services and worked with the IT team to build an integrative, state-of-the-art jobs database. She is a UC Berkeley alumna, majoring in French with an emphasis in Linguistics. She studied abroad at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, the International College of Cannes, and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Jeanne comes to us from John F. Kennedy University Career Center where she coordinated career events and developed metrics to track the quality and usage of programs. She also has an extensive background in volunteer work with Acalanes High School where she has been President of the Parents Club and editor of their weekly e-newsletter. Jeanne is a UCLA alumna with a BA in Economics. Having received her MBA in a part-time program, she is familiar with the specific needs and challenges of our students.
