Graduate Program in Health Management
Entrepreneurship Student Clubs
GPHM students interested in entrepreneurship are encouraged to be a part of the Haas Entrepreneurs Association . The Haas Entrepreneurs Association is the largest student organization on campus, with over 250 members. The organization works closely with the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to provide a series of events to achieve their mission. The mission of this club is to create and foster a dynamic entrepreneurial environment for its members by providing innovative opportunities, meeting forums, and resources. Working closely with the Haas internal and external community, its goal is to provide support and encouragement to create top-quality entrepreneurs across industries.
Another club that provides hands-on experience opportunities for healthcare students interested in entrepreneurship is the Berkeley Solutions Group (BSG). The BSG, sponsored by the Lester Center, offers consulting services from Berkeley MBA students at the Haas School. Their clients, located around the Bay Area, are established and start-up public, private, and nonprofit organizations in various industries. Leveraging a diverse MBA student body that is accessible to work below market rates, BSG is composed of a talented consultant pool with expertise across various business functions and industries, that provides assistance to organizations on a short-term project basis.
Students may also find it useful to participate in clubs and programs that overlap with the healthcare consulting sector:
