Make a Pledge – Let’s Achieve 100%


  • Our goal is 100% class participation. What’s important is not how much you pledge, it’s that you pledge and demonstrate your commitment to Haas. Let’s beat the all-time record of 98% participation!
  • You make no payments now, and your first payment is not due until June 2008.

  • Your initial pledge is simply that, just a pledge to donate to Haas. If, however, you cannot meet that pledge for whatever reason, you are not obligated to pay. Our campaign is just a way to gauge how much we can project to receive from our class as a gift.

  • Your pledge matters! Although we’re a public school, 80% of our funding comes from alumni and outside sources! Your pledge is critical in helping Haas remain competitive, recruit top teaching talent, and constantly improve student services.

    • Recognition Levels


  • End-of-year Class Directory - Special designation in the directory.

  • Haas Leadership Society (HLS) - For five years after graduation, a $500 gift in any year enrolls you in the Haas Leadership Society. The usual qualifying amount is $1,000. HLS members get special recognition in the Annual Report, Annual Gala tickets, and invitations to special Haas events.

  • Donor Recognition - in Haas Annual Report: Friends $100 • Executives $250 • Presidents $500 • Directors $1,000

  • Matching Gifts - Your gift can be increased if you or your spouse’s company matches gifts to educational institutions. If so, you can attain HLS status with a $250 gift. More Info

    Can international students make donations in their own currency?
    YES! Any foreign currency needs to be converted to US dollars for depositing. Pledges or commitments are for US dollars and when donors make their payments in non-US $ they should take in consideration the foreign exchange rate calculation.
