June 18-29, 2012 | Apply Now >

The Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) introduces 40 of the Bay Area’s best and brightest middle school students to the business world every year. Students get a chance to experience campus life at UC Berkeley, the world’s premier public university.

The program fosters creativity, innovation, and collaboration through a project-based curriculum. Fundamental business principles come to life as students become entrepreneurs—creating, running, and dismantling a business in two weeks. The hands-on experience introduces students to business fundamentals, including finance, marketing, and accounting, and teaches them important leadership and teamwork skills.

After two weeks at B-BAY camp, students will have a clear understanding of the basic concepts needed to develop their own business ideas.

B-BAY is sponsored by the Center for Young Entrepreneurs at Haas, and helps to support the Center’s programs for disadvantaged Bay Area youths.
