About
Tiffany Rasmussen is a continuing member of the professional faculty at Berkeley Haas. Her courses include Introduction to Financial Accounting, Intermediate and Advanced Accounting, Auditing, and Ethics.
Rasmussen was an auditor with KPMG LLP for over 26 years, 15 of those as a partner. She is a highly skilled CPA (now retired) with a proven track record as a business advisor and team leader serving a variety of complex, multi-location, public companies (Fortune 1000) and private entities (including start-ups and IPOs) in the consumer products, high tech, clean tech, government, higher education, not-for-profit, and financial services industries. Rasmussen is a team builder who regularly manages multiple complex projects, has strong communication skills, and is a problem solver with a continuous improvement focus. She held several positions within KPMG that provided the opportunity for operational and financial oversight, in addition to her client service role.
Continuing her client service, Rasmussen is currently an independent consultant and provides support to CEOs, CFOs, controllers, internal audit directors and audit committees of public companies related to external and internal auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting, and financial reporting.
Rasmussen’s cumulative experience with UC Berkeley, KPMG LLP, independent consulting, her not-for-profit board service, and her personal interest in world travel and various cultures has developed a strong leader with the core values of cooperation, communication, continuous learning, and service to her global community.
