Vision & Activities
The vision of the center is for us all to live in a fair and equitable business world where all have equal opportunity. We will prepare leaders through four functions:
- Serve as the central hub of Haas activity
The center will serve as the center for the nearly 20 gender and equity efforts already underway at Haas.
- Thought leadership
The center will conduct and disseminate cutting edge research, and produce multi-media content and case studies of companies that are leading in gender equity.
- Curriculum and teaching
The center will teach courses on gender leadership and the value of diversity, produce case studies in which women and minorities are portrayed as positive leaders, and integrate modules and data on equity into existing courses in all degree programs, including executive
education. Faculty training will teach methods for an inclusive learning environment.
- Implementation and action
The center will partner with companies and organizations to host leadership symposia and action labs on change strategies.
