This timeline provides details of working with an IBD team during the the Spring Program. The partnership process usually begins with prospective clients discusing the initial project scope with IBD management and finishes with the client receiving final deliverables from their IBD team.

|Prospective clients engage the Berkeley Haas IBD management team to discuss project scope, goals and deliverables. Enter into an agreement.|
|January||Teams are assigned. Clients are introduced to their IBD team and faculty mentor. The project scope will be further refined as the team begins to research and assess the core areas of impact.|
|Letter of engagement signed. IBD team works remotely, holding regular conference calls with their client to ensure work is progressing according to client's needs.|
|May-June||Team is on-site for three weeks, incorporating primary research into their report. Final presentation is delivered to client upon culmination of in-country work.|
|September||IBD Conference. IBD teams showcase their IBD project to the Berkeley Haas community, and current and prospective clients. Awards are granted.|
