Carlos Dieguez, MBA 98

Carlos made a significant career change some 6 years ago. He gave up corporate where he worked at companies including Arthur D. Little and Mc Kinsey & Company and last worked at Satelites Mexicanos (Satmex) as New Business Development Director. At this last position he was responsible of the company’s entrance into the Brazilean market what led him into his new journey.

After leaving Satmex and traveling around the globe for 16 months, Carlos decided to start importing bikinis from Brazil. What seemed at the time a past-time has evolved into a small business with offices, warehouses and showrooms both in Mexico City and Cancun with retail operations at both.

Carlos holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business specializing in Management of Technology and International Business. His undergrad was in Electrical Engineering specializing in Electronics and Telecommunications.

Despite all the travel required with the company, Carlos remains an avid International traveler looking for any excuse to go to countries he hasn’t visited before. He enjoys practicing Ashtanga yoga which he took on 8 years ago as well as skiing and waterskiing.
