How much to give

Your Generosity, Our Business School

The beauty of the Haas Fund is that every gift, of every size, makes a difference. In addition to representing your personal investment in the Haas School, Haas Fund gifts, together, have profound collective impact. They inspire gifts from peers. They raise the Haas School's stature among prospective students and faculty, corporate recruiters and sponsors, and national publications, which judge a business school by the strength and commitment of its alumni community.

Because the Haas Fund is an annual tradition, each year's campaign adds to a continuous stream of private support — a key reason for the Haas School's improvement on every metric in the recent past, despite decreases in public funds. In fact, annual giving is so important to the Haas School that people who make gifts to the Haas Fund over 10 consecutive fiscal years are honored as Haas True Blues, offering special benefits for the school's most loyal partners.

We understand that the size of one's gift is a very personal decision, and that gift amounts may vary year to year with personal capacity. Although smaller gifts, together, make a difference, ongoing generosity at the $1,000 level and above makes you eligible for the Haas Leadership Society. As part of this exclusive community of especially generous donors, Haas Leadership Society members experience greater access to the Dean and deeper connections to the Haas School.

"My degree from Haas played a pivotal role in my life. It opened doors, created opportunities and gave me lifelong friends. It established my standards, peer group and business ethics. In these times when state funding is challenge the very concept of a land grant university, my continued gifts to Haas help to insure that the students of today, particularly the undergraduate students, will have the same opportunities with which I was blessed."
