All MFEs land Internships
The Master's in Financial Engineering (MFE) program
is enjoying 100% placement success this fall as every
available student was hired by an investment bank, hedge
fund, or other financial firm for a 10- to 12-week internship
over the MFE program's winter break.
All 57 students who pursued internships were placed,
according to Linda Kreitzman, MFE program director.
Firms with interns include BARRA, Barclays Capital,
Barclays Global Investors, BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global
Markets, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Nicholas Applegate,
and WR Hambrecht.
While at work, the students will not only put new-found
knowledge into practice, but will also give these financial
firms an early look at job candidates who will be available
upon completion of the program in March 2005.
