Annual Fund Director Kathy Andrews was recruited by
Haas last fall after serving 24 years in Cal’s
Recreational Sports and Cal Athletics. Most recently,
Andrews worked in a dual role as director of Recreational
Sports for Bear Backer Youth and as a major gifts officer
for Cal Athletics. She created “Bear Hugs,”
a program that provides volunteer visits by Cal athletes
to local hospitals, and she secured more than $11 million
in external funding for intercollegiate athletics.
Since taking on the role of assistant dean for budget
and operations last June, Alice Kubler has relied on
both UC and corporate experience. She spent 18 years
in the corporate world, at Sierra Capital Companies
and Bechtel, before coming to UC Berkeley’s University
Health Services. There she most recently served as finance
and data operations manager for both the Health Services
and the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Kristen Williams joined the Haas School as director
of Alumni Relations last July. She works with Tenny
Frost, who now serves as executive director of Alumni
Relations. Williams comes to Haas from Duke University,
where she served first as assistant and then acting
director of Alumni Relations at the Fuqua School of
Business.
