The Haas Alumni Diversity Council offers alumni the opportunity to support efforts to enhance diversity within the Berkeley-Haas community. Founded in 2012, it brings together a dozen alumni who represent all degree programs and a variety of industries and work experiences. The Council meets three times a year to provide candid feedback to the diversity director and dean.
The Council is intended to become a forum that educates its members and gives them a forum to discuss, analyze, and share their insights and experiences issues such as experiential learning programs, curriculum, the school’s culture, and social networking platforms as they relate to enhancing diversity at Berkeley-Haas. Its members will “interpret the business community” for the school to ensure we understand how our efforts will be viewed by different business sectors.
