Departmental Overview

Haas@Work is an applied innovation program operated by the Institute for Business Innovation. Extremely popular with both MBA students and organizations and companies around the world, Haas@Work has been assigning teams of MBA consultants to paradigm-shifting, innovative projects for a number of years. Approximately 500 Haas MBAs have participated in Haas@Work since the program's inception, undertaking projects with prestigious international firms representing a variety of leading-edge industries.

Responsibilities:

Support the delivery and execution of the Haas@Work program, including performing the following activities: business development, work with clients to design the programs, develop program materials, identify, evaluate, and select Haas student participants, assist in planning and coordinating all program events, provide leadership and direction throughout the Haas@Work program. Contribute to expanding and improving the Haas@Work program. Assesses program's effectiveness, and recommends changes to program's content, policies and procedures accordingly. Research similar programs and recommend improvements to the program. Execute program improvements in the following areas: program structure, marketing materials, website.

Identify, develop and close new Corporate Program Sponsors, approximately 10 a year. Identify new sales prospects, manage sales process, close sponsorships.

Required Qualifications

•  MBA or similar advanced degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
•  Academic background and experience in business and experiential learning programs..
•  Advanced knowledge of administrative, budgetary, human resources and financial principles and practices.
•  Advanced oral and written communication skills.
•  Advanced ability to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills.
•  Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results.
•  Advanced ability to work collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers.
•  Highly skilled fundraising experience.
•  Command of principles and practices of effective teaching quality and curriculum development.
•  Demonstrated political and organizational acumen within a complex organization
•  Business acumen with the ability to advise students on company projects.

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this 50%-100% variable part-time, one year appointment will be commensurate with experience.

This is a 50% - 100% variable,  one-year career position with an end date.
The position has up-to 10% domestic travel.
