Benefits

Additionally, you may contact Robbie Jackson, the Haas School's benefits counselor, with specific questions about enrolling in and using your benefits.

University Health Services — The University Health Services' Tang Center offers many health-related services for faculty and staff.
Ergonomics — Provides information on how to prevent injuries resulting from ergonomic hazards, including information on back basics and healthy computing.
Disability Services — Information on disability services available on campus. Includes resources, guidelines for nondiscrimination, and short-term disability plan.
CARE Services — Provides free, confidential counseling, consultation, and referral for Berkeley faculty and staff.
There may be times during your career at UC when you need to take a leave of absence. There are a number of types of approved leaves of absence: Family and Medical Leave, Furlough, Leave without Pay, Military Leave, Paid Leave, and Sabbatical.
The University offers a retirement plan that is designed to help employees ensure that their "Golden Years" live up to the name, by providing a solid financial foundation and lots of flexibility so employees can make their own decisions about their investments. In addition to a generous defined benefit pension plan which provides retirement income based on age, years of service, and salary level at time of retirement the University also offers employees an impressive array of additional first-rate investment products designed to help employees achieve their goals for future financial security. Family Resources for Staff at Cal
Cal has many resources for families and parents, including Child Care Facilities, Educational Programs, Youth Sport Camps, and Elder Care.
