Training & Development for Haas Supervisors & Managers

Foundation Component

The Foundation component is designed to address school-wide topics, directly related to supporting Haas' Supervisors and Managers as they execute the School’s strategic plan. Foundation activities provide Haas' Supervisors and Managers a common language and tools for managing toward our strategic goals.

Activities organized under the Foundation component are open to all supervisors and managers at Haas and structured to promote shared understanding of relevant topics, and support the Haas' management community. These activities are mostly coordinated and underwritten by Haas HR and the Dean’s office.

Workshop Series

Facilitated by Haas senior managers, these workshops cover relevant management and leadership topics with a Haas-specific focus.

Customized Programs

Addressing Haas’ organizational goals, these customized management development programs are developed and presented by experts in relevant management and leadership topics and/or offered by the UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education.

Professional Development Assessments

Assessments to raise supervisors and managers’ awareness about their professional strengths and development needs and support the development of action plans.
