The MBA Association is the student government organization for the full time MBA program.
MBAA responsibilities span many areas including academics, admissions, and career services. The MBAA funds activities such as social events, career treks, and student clubs. These officers serve from January of their first year through December of their second year.

MBAA 2009 Mission
To provide a strong platform for student-driven life at Haas; to represent and advocate students’ needs to the administration, faculty, and other groups; and to focus efforts on building a strong brand for Haas.
MBAA 2009 Guiding Principles
We use these principles as touchstones for our discussions and decision-making, to ensure that our actions are in line with the ideals we put forward as a student community through the MBAA election process.
- Representation & Communication: Listen to, prioritize and advocate the needs of student body without bias or politicization. Make informed decisions on behalf of the student body in a way that represents more than just the majority. Provide full transparency and effective outbound communication of all actions of the MBAA.
- Stewardship of the Haas Brand: Promote & strengthen the Haas brand, by maintaining a standard of excellence in our interactions and by ensuring that the experiences that we are responsible for benefit the Haas brand.
- Inclusion: Empower all students to share in and benefit from all activities and the diversity of our student body.
- Preservation of the Unique Haas Student-driven Experience: Ensure the richness and diversity of the Haas MBA experience.
