The East Bay Chapter of the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network invites you to join us at the Altarena Playhouse in Alameda for a holiday season play, “The Thanksgiving Play.”

• Altarena Playhouse is the oldest continuously operating community theater in the Bay Area, since 1938.
• The show “The Thanksgiving Play”: Sunday, Nov. 24th, 2PM matinee – (doors from the street to the lobby open at 1PM, and doors from the lobby to the performance theater open at 1:30PM).
• Coffee, Cookies, Wine, Beer, Mimosas, etc. available for purchase in the lobby before the play and during intermission.
• After the show, you can take a short drive to Park St., in Alameda, and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the fine restaurants.   

ABOUT THE PLAY

From Larissa Fasthorse, the first known female Native American playwright on Broadway, this wickedly funny satire cleverly shows how good intentions and cultural assumptions collide when a troupe of misguided teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Thanksgiving Day and Native American Heritage Month.
