Cakebread Cellars

With 47 harvests under our belts, Cakebread Cellars has continued to grow and make wines that we are proud to produce. Over the years we have added to our estate vineyards with over 1,600 gross acres which contribute to our ability to grow consistently fantastic wines. Crocker Starr and Winery

Crocker & Starr grows the five Bordeaux varietals (cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, petit verdot and malbec) as well as sauvignon blanc from an 85-acre estate vineyard that has been continuously farmed since the 1870’s. The vineyard lies in the St. Helena Appellation just south of town and is comprised of alluvial soils that gradually change as the terrain gently slopes down toward the Napa River. Years have been dedicated to organic farming to improve the already superior soil.

Swanson Vineyards was founded in 1985 by W. Clarke and Elizabeth Swanson and is known for nationally distributing Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Alexis Cabernet Sauvignon – in addition, Swanson has long been producing limited production, tiny batch wines made from intriguing varietals. The Swanson Vineyards’ Salon was modeled after a Parisian salon of the mid 1800’s, where handfuls of diverse and fascinating callers were graciously entertained with sinful libations.

V. Sattui Winery stands today as the result of hard work, dedication, and the extraordinary vision of two men who happen to be related. Vittorio Sattui started the business in 1885 after emigrating from Genoa, Italy. The law-abiding Vittorio was forced to shut down when Prohibition went into effect, and the winery would lay dormant until 1976, when Vittorio’s great-grandson, Dario, would realize his dream of resurrecting the family business in the town of St. Helena in Napa Valley.
