Staff Eligibility
- Peer Leaders: All applicants for the Peer Leader position must be B-BAY alumni with successful program completion status.
- Work Authorization: All applicants for volunteer and paid positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Hiring and Onboarding Process
Staff onboarding process is managed in partnership with university services and involves several mandatory steps to ensure compliance and safety. The full onboarding process, including the background check and final results, may require 4 to 8 weeks for completion.
- Upon receiving an offer of employment, successful candidates must complete a DocuSign form.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must complete their DocuSign form, which will then be followed by a required signature from their parent or legal guardian.
- All new hires must successfully complete the following:
- I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form
- Background Check conducted via a fingerprint scan
- Misconduct Disclosure
- All staff members are required to complete both the California Mandated Reporter Training and the Minors’ Safety Training prior to their official start date.
- All required onboarding steps must be fully completed before an individual can officially begin their role. Staff cannot begin working if they are not fully onboarded, regardless of the program’s scheduled start date.

- Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Saturdays 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM
