Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents and the application fees are submitted. An admissions decision will be made and emailed to you within two weeks.

Tuition for Two-Week Non-Credit Course
Domestic Residential $5,500
International Residential $6,500
Room Key Deposit $100** Required at orientation
** Deposit will be returned when key and fob are returned and room is left clean at checkout
This amount covers the cost of tuition, room and board, supervised residences, breakfast and dinner, and travel expenses for B-BAY weekend extracurricular excursions. Not included in this charge are transportation between University of California Berkeley and the San Francisco International Airport, off-campus events planned by RA sand incidental expenses. Residential students are expected to cover expenses such as lunch, laundry, personal items, and admissions fees for optional activities in the Bay Area.
Required Health Services Fee (not included in tuition) Students must provide proof of health insurance.
If an activity is cancelled due to unforeseen facility closures or other circumstance, the activity will be rescheduled if possible. If we can’t reschedule, we will notify you in advance. Some activities may be changed due to weather conditions.
No refunds, exchanges, transfers, or credits given unless the Haas facility is closed due to unforeseen circumstances or in cases of illness or hospitalization. A written request for a refund due to illness or hospitalization must be received in the Enrollment Office no less than thirty days prior to the first day of the Academy to qualify.
Request for a refund in cases of illness or hospitalization are considered only with a doctor’s note and letter requesting the exception and are assessed an administrative fee of $75 per child per transaction*. Refunds are also assessed all fees paid by the university. No medical request will be considered after the first day of the Academy.
Tuition is not prorated. Session dates cannot be changed for an individual student. You may not substitute another youth for a student accepted in the academy. No refunds, exchanges, transfers or credits given if students are dismissed from the program due to disciplinary action.
