High School Bootcamp
We look for high school founders with a validated product or service that has traction in revenue and/or users. The application and accompanying materials should display your skill in organizing and presenting thoughts and drive to continue building your business. The program is a great fit for students who want to grow the ideas they are already building.
The High School Summer Bootcamp is a two-week immersive, residential experience. Please only enroll if you can fully commit to the program dates.

Application Requirements
Applicants will submit all materials through our secure Application System. The portal will be posted in early January.
All team members will be required to complete the application form. Group applications must be completed on the same device.
Applicants are encouraged to begin preparing their applications and apply early.
Only one team member must submit this form.
Students are to respond to the prompts in 150 words or less each.

- How much money did you start with, and what were your funding sources?
- How many users do you have?
- How much revenue have you generated?
- Please upload your user/revenue dashboard.
- What is your startup industry?
- What marketing channels do you currently use?
- What is a challenge your startup is currently facing?
- If you won $10,000, how would you use it?
- Video Essay: Record a 2-minute video with your team pitching your business to a potential investor or customer. Tell us what problem you’re solving, who you’re solving it for, and why people are already using your product. Show us your passion and clarity about where you’re headed.
Recommendation:
- A recommender can be a mentor, advisor, teacher who has seen your idea grow.
- B-BAY will send a form to the recommender email submitted in the application form.
- Please speak to your recommender in advance and share your interest. We will not accept forms submitted by the applicants.
A non-refundable $100 application fee must accompany the completed application. Applications submitted without payment will not be reviewed.
After Applying
Teams and solo-founders shortlisted for the program will be interviewed for final acceptance.
Admissions decisions will be released in March-April 2026.
Students admitted into the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth have 10 days, including weekends, from your acceptance date to enroll online and pay the program fees. You are not enrolled until full payment is received.
