B-BAY is an impacted program. We encourage you to apply prior to the application deadline as applications are reviewed and applicants accepted on a rolling basis (the registration numbers could be met prior to the deadline date and applications may close earlier than the application deadline mentioned above).

Virtual cohort meets twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM

Decisions will be rolling out between July 31, 2026 – September 10, 2026

Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents and the application fees are submitted. An admissions decision will be made only on the completion of the application packet that includes essays, transcripts, graded assignment, and teacher recommendations.

*DO NOT register if dates and class times conflict with other commitments, i.e. enrolled programs. This is a team and project-based learning program, failure to attend classes impact peer learning and participation.  We are unable to provide allowances for missed program dates.

The tuition covers both semesters, student subscription for learning tools, UC campus fees, bank fees, credit card fees, third-party system, and administrative fees.

Tuition is not prorated. Session dates cannot be changed for an individual student. You may not substitute another youth for a student accepted in the academy. No refunds, exchanges, transfers, or credits are given if students withdraw from the program or are dismissed from the program due to disciplinary action.

No refunds, exchanges, transfers, or credits will be provided in connection with technical difficulties participants experience in accessing the online programming.

Refunds, exchanges, transfers, or credits are available only under the following circumstances:

• Haas cancels the academy (for example, due to unforeseen circumstances or due to circumstances relating to COVID-19).  If Haas cancels the academy, you will be issued a full refund (less processing fees, described below).  If Haas cancels a portion of the Academy, you will be issued a prorated refund based on the number of days remaining in the Academy at the time of cancellation.
• In cases of illness or hospitalization of a participant, a written request for a refund due to illness or hospitalization must be received in the Enrollment Office no less than 30 days prior to the first day of the Academy to qualify.  No refunds will be issued for requests received later than 30 days prior to the first day of the Academy.  Requests for a refund in cases of illness or hospitalization require a doctor’s note and letter requesting the exception.  If Haas approves the refund request, you will receive a full refund, less an administrative fee of $80 per child per transaction and less processing fees (described below).

Any refunds due will be assessed any fees paid by the university, such as fees paid by the university for credit card or bank processing.  Such fees paid by the university are non-refundable.

Please note that Haas must retain the right to cancel the Academy or a portion of the Academy due to unforeseen circumstances or due to circumstances relating to any health virus.  Haas will not be liable for any claims or damages arising out of any such cancellation (other than the refund as described above)
