I participated in BBAY the Summer after my junior year of high school (Summer of 2014) and am currently in my freshman year at Cal pursuing the Haas School of Business. B-BAY inspired me to begin working for a small business located in my hometown. The Company is Chateau Bakery, which is under a year old and has products in stores ranging from San Rafael to Los Altos to Lafayette. I managed inventory, carried out deliveries, and worked at various farmer's markets. I also attended several meetings with grocery stores in order for them to begin supplying the cookies, packaging companies to discuss how to improve the boxes they were sold in, and meetings with nutritional/ legal experts to ensure the product met the necessary standards. B-BAY gave me the tools and know-how to become a useful asset for a small business.
