Claire Veuthey

Senior Analyst and head of ESG, Social Impact Investing, Wells Fargo Private Bank

Claire has worked to help investors better integrate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors into their decisions for the last decade, serving in investment research, product development, and business development roles in London, Toronto, Singapore, Amsterdam, and now San Francisco. She has worked with a variety of financial institutions, from pension funds to private equity managers and stock exchanges. Claire currently leads Wells Fargo Social Impact Investing team’s ESG research and corporate engagement work.


As a member of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center’s Young Executive Advisory Board, she helps drive the Center’s mission to educate entrepreneurs globally, with a focus on social entrepreneurs. Claire previously served as a Technical Advisor to the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) during the year of its formation in 2017, and as Administrative Co-Director of the Investment for Impact Research Prize during its inaugural year. Claire holds a MA from Kings College London and a Licence (MA equivalent) from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She is also a SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential holder.
