This document captures all the accounts you will need to set-up for a successful OP experience.
What is Orientation Program?
The Consortium’s Orientation traditionally brings together all incoming consortium students from the 25 member business schools. Students will be able to:
- Meet your Haas classmates and over 500+ CGSM students
- Attend workshops to learn about different career paths
- Network with 30+ companies throughout the week and at the career forum
- Potentially interview with companies and secure a summer internship
OP will be held in-person May 31 – June 4 at the JW Marriot Indianapolis and Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium.

Preparing for OP
We are here to prepare you for the opportunities and challenges that the Virtual OP Program will bring. The CMG will present a comprehensive OP Prep Program that will help you discover and communicate what meaningful work means to you. Our program will guide you through developing your story, updating your marketing materials, conducting career conversations and interviews with confidence, and creating a strategy for you to get the most out of the virtual OP.

All webinars will be recorded and uploaded within two business days if you cannot attend the live session. All CMG sponsored webinars and industry calls will be held at 4pm PDT.

Haas has a recommended resume format for MBA students. You should update your resume to include your Haas education, and highlight results and major accomplishments. If you know what industry/or function you’ll be targeting for a summer internship keep that in mind as you make your changes.

VMock
VMock – Resume development application designed for MBAs that will check your Haas formatting, read for impactful bullet points, and ensure the use of leadership language – a minimum score of 75 is recommended for all students prior to seeing a coach.

INDUSTRY CALLS
We will hold a series of calls for the four industries that recruit at Consortium that students have historically had the most interest: Consulting, Technology, CPG/Retail/Marketing, and Innovation Design Consulting. Consortium students who recruited in this area at Consortium and some of our CMG industry Relationship Managers will share their insights about important things to know and interviewing tips.
