Adobe Emerges as Top Corporate Partner for 2019

What makes a top corporate partner? At Berkeley Haas, this means a broad focus on supporting the school through financial contributions, recruiting, active engagement, and dedicated alumni interaction in alignment with our values and Defining Leadership Principles.

Adobe emerged as the #1 Corporate Partner for 2018-19, which Assistant Dean Abby Scott believes is “evidence of the cultural values that our organizations share.” Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, MBA ‘93, supported this in his commencement speech at Haas in recent years when discussing the importance of “finding people who – like Haas teaches – are ‘Confident Without Attitude’ – who can be team players, who will challenge and help bring out the best in you.”

While Adobe performs well in all four categories of our Corporate Scorecard – Hiring, Funding, Engagement and Affiliation – they did particularly well last year in Hiring and Engagement. They are very active with on-campus recruiting through events, job postings, and alumni involvement, resulting in 7 new hires from the full-time MBA Class of 2019. Additionally, with an active alumni base nearby, Adobe has high engagement in several speaker series, club events and other Berkeley Haas programs.
