Grace Cao
CSSL Student Advisory Board Member
Grace is a first-year FTMBA student at Haas, focusing on social impact strategy and nonprofit leadership. Before Haas, she was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where she led pro bono projects through Inspire, Bain’s nonprofit consulting arm, partnering with local nonprofits on strategic planning and fundraising initiatives. She also served as an Associate Strategy Officer at the Gates Foundation, supporting the Gender Equality and Digital Connectivity team to expand digital access for women and girls in low- and middle-income countries.
At Haas, Grace serves as a Berkeley Board Fellow with the Oakland Public Education Fund and is excited to contribute to CSSL’s mission of developing values-driven leaders who create lasting social impact. Looking ahead, she hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of strategy, finance and social innovation, helping mission-driven organizations scale their impact sustainably.
