Thank you for 20 years!

We have made the difficult decision to sunset the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC). The world has changed since GSVC launched two decades ago, with social impact efforts in business and on campuses going from niche to mainstream. We firmly believe we’ve played a role in shaping this change, and are very proud to have helped more than 6,500 teams from 65+ countries across the globe and distributed more than $1M in prize money.  

We will continue our work in both sustainable and impact finance and social impact entrepreneurship through a new initiative, SAIF (Sustainable and Impact Finance). SAIF provides  new sustainable and impact investing classes and externships, faculty research, a startup sustainable impact investment fund for Haas students, and convenings to build the field and share insights. SAIF will measurably advance Haas leadership and practice in both sustainable and impact finance and social impact entrepreneurship. 

We are confident that SAIF will generate social impact entrepreneurship opportunities for our students and the broader community, and we look forward to engaging with you as SAIF grows.
