California Regulators Are Pressed to Come Clean on Gasoline Prices

Severin Borenstein, Energy Institute Faculty Director, states his views on the debate surrounding an increase in fossil fuel prices and whether or not the cost increase would have a substantial impact on climate change.

“The people who want to adopt these climate initiatives too often say this won’t cost anything and will actually save money, and the people who oppose it massively overstate the costs associated with it. It’s hard to have an honest conversation.”
