Asian Pacific Heritage Month Event

DAR
May
18

May 18, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

During this time of uncertainty and upheaval, there is a great need to come together to acknowledge our individual and collective struggle – and also celebrate our resilience and shared humanity.

In celebration of AAPI month, Dr. Lynne Morrow, Director of the Oakland Symphony Chorus, and Erica Peng, Haas faculty member, will lead an uplifting gathering to build meaningful connections and community! Lynne will guide breath work, movement, and a “call and response” song, and Erica will lead a deep listening partner activity from her course, “Interpersonal Skills and Embodied Leadership.”

Since early June, Lynne and Erica have been leading gatherings like this, for the public and organizations, to support people moving through crisis and challenge. Together. In community. We are excited to offer this special event for the entire Haas community of students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

Please join us on May 18th, 2021 from 4-5 pm PST. The event involves a partner activity, so Lynne and Erica request that you join by 4pm and participate until the end.

More details about the event and Lynne and Erica’s partnership are on this page including a link to RSVP. After signing up, a zoom link will be shared with you.

We hope you will join us for this hour of healing and celebration!
