Just like using digital wallets Venmo or PayPal for fiat payment and money transfer, transactions and investments of digital assets require crypto wallets. 

However, still in their early stage of development, crypto wallets are less user-friendly and more complicated. They become one of the bottlenecks of adoption of cryptoassets. 

Berkeley Haas Blockchain & Crypto Interest Group (BHBC) ‘s two board members will share their perspectives on key aspects of crypto wallets, and walk you through the steps on how to create your first crypto wallet, if you do not have one yet and demonstrate how you can send a cryptocurrency to-and-from other wallets. Measures you should take to keep your wallet secure. 

No technical experience or background is required for this event. You will walk away with a crypto wallet and basic knowledge, equipped for your exploration in the investment in cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs and other digital assets. The event will have a Q&A session.
