Among them a program of Research Infrastructure Commons (RIC) through Intellectual Property and Industry Research Alliances (IPIRA); technology & licensing from the BEAR lab where start-ups can provide equity in lieu of the $250k fee previously required; and Non-fungible Tokens (NFT’s) as part of capturing value of Nobel Awards by UCB recipients.
