Haas Alumni are invited to welcome incoming and recently graduated students to our Alumni Community. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch, beer or wine. 

Besides networking opportunities, there will be activities for kids and adults to enjoy. There will be a brief presentation on a project called the “The Missing Students”, featuring ten life-sized statues made by college students to emphasize the importance of Higher Education and ensuring access to individuals all over the world who can bring their talents to Haas. Leslie Smith, EWMBA ’93, will be giving the presentation. 

There are a limited number of picnic benches, so bring a beach blanket to sit on in the lawn area. Because of the limited area we are allowed to use, registration for this event is limited to 125 attendees, so register early. 

There is a small parking lot on the south side of the park and a large parking lot on the north side of the park. The walk from the north parking lot to the picnic site is fairly long. 

Cost – There is no charge for new students, current students and new alumni who graduated after 2020. Kids under 12 are also free. Everyone else must pay a nominal fee of $5.
