The East Bay Chapter of the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network invites you to join us in strengthening our international community through a Story Salon uniting us with the Afghan, Tigray, and Ukrainian communities at Haas. Story Salon is a cherished student tradition that builds warmth and connection through vulnerable storytelling. We’re excited to bring this experience to the alumni community with alumni and student speakers who are empowered and uplifted to unveil prepared personal stories of their lived experiences.

Recent 2022 MBA graduates, Sevita Qarshi and Sami Tamyalew, and second-year FTMBA Fiodor Otero Kharina will share stories from their communities of origin, Afghanistan, Tigray, and Ukraine, raising awareness of the current challenges their communities face at home.
