DESCRIPTION:The East Bay Chapter of the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network invites you to an educational virtual event on strategies to make charitable gifts tax efficiently. \nRebecca Conradi\, an estate attorney\, will present the different types of charitable trusts which allow donors to generate income from the trust for designated non-charitable beneficiaries and receive a charitable tax deduction. Constance Young\, a financial advisor\, will describe a strategy\, called donor advised funds\, which allow a charitable tax deduction when a contribution is made to the donor advised fund\, but the distribution to public charities can be made over several years. \nFor information about this event\, contact Dean Suzuki: dean.suzuki@gmail.comRegister Here
