SUMMARY:EGAL Presents: Transforming Business Beyond COVID-19
DESCRIPTION:COVID-19 continues to deeply and severely impact people in our communities\, the business world\, and society — with disproportionate impacts on Black and brown communities and women. It is critical both to respond to the crisis in the immediate term\, and to focus on an equitable recovery that ensures that the long-term effects from the virus do not worsen inequality. This is a once in a generation opportunity to address staggering inequalities in the United States and to rebuild in innovative and systems-changing ways towards an equitable future. \nAt this event\, we will share EGAL’s strategy playbook for business leaders to integrate equity and inclusion in COVID-19 recovery and discuss what it takes to truly enable an equity fluent recovery. \nThe event will include a panel discussion with: \n\nFounder and Executive Director of the Center for Equity\, Gender\, and Leadership (EGAL)\, Kellie McElhaney\nEsteemed Lieutenant Governor of California\, Eleni Kounalakis\n\nAdditional speakers will be announced closer to the event. \nRegister Here
