Los Angeles Alumni: Direct-to-Consumer: What We Learned in 2020 and How We’ll Grow in 2021
Virtual | Los Angeles, CA |
January 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Meet the Founders and Leaders behind some of LA’s Newest Direct-to-Consumer Startups
2020 has been a fiercely difficult year for many industries, with some seeing declines that will recover very slowly if at all.
The story for the fast-paced direct-to-consumer “D2C” start-up arena is not so simple, as companies across various categories encountered new opportunities within new challenges, building toward plans in 2021 that look nothing like what they would have imagined just 12 months ago.
Hear from a panel of founders and leaders of early-stage consumer-facing companies on how they had dealt with 2020, what they learned, and how they’ll adjust in the new year.
The esteemed panel includes:
- Erin Mastopietro, Co-Founder at Dope Dog
- Hala Shamas, Co-Founder at Sipsy
- Danielle Silveira, Head of Marketing at Airvet / formerly Retention at Goop
- Jeff Wiguna, Co-Founder at Kuju Coffee
- Moderator: Patrick Pan, formerly Theragun / Lumin / Nest Fragrances
This will be a fireside chat format and the conversation will be casual, inviting attendees to participate and ask questions when appropriate. Topics may include market outlook, growth, customer changes, product strategy, supply chains, funding, and more.
Whether you’re a fellow entrepreneur, a business leader open to inspiration, an investor, or a young professional / student looking at some of LA’s up and coming consumer startups…
Come curious and ready to explore!
