Cook virtually alongside fellow Cal Bears in this interactive cooking session led by Berkeley Haas Alumni Network New York’s, Caitlyn Kuan!

In these Covid times, many of us have taken to cooking. But can you simply follow an online recipe? How do you choose which one to follow? What happens if you’re unfamiliar with a dish so you can’t tell if the recipe will taste authentic? In this FREE interactive session, we will go beyond the recipe; you will learn the “why” for the steps you take when you’re cooking.

You will learn (or re-learn) two dishes:
(1) Chinese Fried Rice

• By learning this classic dish, you’ll anchor your understanding of 1-2 of the fundamental concepts for cooking Chinese food

(2) TBD “Mystery Dish” (Student’s Choice)

• After registration, you will receive a survey where you can provide feedback on the second dish you want to learn. The ultimate dish will be based on your feedback and other factors such as logistics.
