The Cal Alumni Association (CAA) and Cal Athletics present “Rise Up, Bears,” a virtual Hoops Party and Black History Month celebration. This year’s event will feature a live conversation between CEO of the Dallas Mavericks Cynthia (Cynt) Marshall ’81, Cal Men’s Basketball alum Jason Gant ’06, Cal Women’s Basketball alumni Renee Wright-Davis ’06, Alexis Gray-Lawson ’10 and Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas, Cal Athletics’ Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Justice. Enjoy guest appearances from Athletics Director Jim Knowlton, Women’s Basketball Head Coach Charmin Smith, and CAA Executive Director Susie Cohen Crumpler; plus a Cal trivia contest with prizes, including a Lair of the Golden Bear winter stay, and more!
