DESCRIPTION:Located in the picturesque Santa Barbara Harbor\, the Maritime Museum celebrates the connection between the local community and the sea. The Museum showcases California’s fascinating maritime heritage through interactive exhibits\, artifacts\, art\, film and unique community education programs. \nThe Museum is a great place to learn more about the impact of climate change on the ocean and view two floors of exhibits on a wide range of topics focused on the Santa Barbara region\, including the history of the waterfront\, whaling\, shipwrecks\, Channel Island ranching and local surfing. \nJoin us for a virtual presentation by a Museum Ocean Educator as we learn more about all the Museum has to offer\, with a focus on its newest permanent exhibit\, Whales are Superheroes! \nThis will be a virtual presentation.
