Silicon Valley Alumni: The Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank: A Post-Mortem Analysis

Berkeley Haas Accounting Professor Omri Even-Tov and FTMBA student Kelly McGonigle are pleased to extend an invitation to a distinctive lecture entitled, “The Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank: A Post-Mortem Analysis.” The discussion will cover the history of SVB, the factors that led to its demise, how accounting played a key role in it all, and what are some takeaways.
This lecture will be held on Zoom and is open to all Berkeley Haas affiliates, and we encourage you to bring your critical thinking skills and a keen sense of curiosity. Together, we aim to unearth the myriad learnings this case has to offer. We look forward to engaging with as many of you as possible and fostering a conducive environment for learning and discussion.

6 :30 pm – 7:00 pm: Q & A
Cost: $7.50 for Alumni, free for current students. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Impact CFO, an organization launched by Professor Even-Tov to help meet the market demand for chief financial officers in social impact organizations.
