Speaker Bios

  • Alex Feng, Head of Marketing and Growth Finance at Robinhood Mr. Feng is a seasoned leader with over 10 years of experience in the intersection of product strategy, FP&A, and analytics. Currently, he leads finance and strategy for marketing and growth at Robinhood. Previously, he worked at Google as a Product Strategy Principal transformed consumer Maps product roadmap. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. 
  • Charlie Davidmann, Head of Capital Markets at Pipe Mr. Davidmann leads the Capital Market team at Pipe, which is one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the world and reimagines how SaaS companies are funded and grow. Previously, he worked at Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) advising SCB securities on their consumer wealth management strategy. He co-founded FIT’D that was acquired by Skillful.ly. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
  • D.J. Tierney, Managing Director/Senior Investment Portfolio Strategist at Charles Schwab Mr. Tierney has over 25 years of experience in institutional sales, trading, and capital markets, with an extensive background in and knowledge of ETFs and fixed income. His discerning investment knowledge paired with his behavioral finance insights can provide audiences with a unique perspective on trading and investing in today’s market dynamics. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers/Citigroup. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. 
  • Moderator: Emily Wang, Board Member at Berkeley Haas Alumni Network Silicon Valley Chapter and Investor at Lume Capital Emily is a Board Member at Berkeley Haas Alumni Network Silicon Valley Chapter. Serving on the Chapter Board allows her to stay connected and give back to the school. At Lume Capital, she invests in financial technology companies. Previously, she worked at Robinhood focusing on equity trading, Industry Ventures, Square 1 Bank, and Dipsea Capital helping the teams identify and evaluate investment opportunities. When she studied at UC Berkeley, she co-founded Entrepreneurs @ Berkeley to help nurture the next unicorn.
