What is the outlook for mortgage rates, residential and commercial real estate prices, does it make sense to buy now and refinance later or wait and take advantage of the low rate you may already have?  What are the risks and opportunities in commercial real estate for investors and for the economy? What is the research and outlook for new home buyers with affordability near an all-time low?

Come and join us to benefit from Professor Wallace’s insights and latest research on real estate and mortgage markets. Nancy has advised the Fed and Congress, and she has identified developments leading to major financial events, including being one of the first to identify the risks leading to the financial crisis (2007-2009).

Dr. Nancy Wallace is a Berkeley Haas Professor of Finance, Chair of the Lisle and Roslyn Payne in Real Estate and Capital Markets, the Chair of the Real Estate Group, Co-Chair of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, and she directs the Real Estate and Financial Markets Laboratory. She is widely recognized as an expert in both the residential and commercial real estate and mortgage markets and has published extensively on these topics.
