- The Science of Preventing Burnout: How to Manage Stress and Maintain Overall Wellbeing Recording-The EWMBAA VPs of Mental Health partnered with Haas faculty, Dr. Sahar Yousef and Professor Lucas Miller, to provide access from a previous livestream training session. In this rapid-fire session, Dr. Yousef and Professor Miller discuss burnout and provide a practical toolkit of strategies on how burnout can be beat.

Effective Fall 2024, all Berkeley students will be automatically enrolled in the Berkeley Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)(opens in a new tab) as a way to meet the university’s health insurance mandate(opens in a new tab). Berkeley SHIP is a comprehensive major medical insurance plan, providing medical(opens in a new tab), counseling(opens in a new tab), prescription(opens in a new tab), vision(opens in a new tab) and dental(opens in a new tab) services. For the 2024-2025 academic year, graduate students will be charged $3,221 per semester for this plan.

Waivers must be submitted by July 15, 2024 to avoid a late fee of $75. UHS will not accept waiver applications after August 15, 2024 and Haas has no involvement in this waiver process.
