About

Angèle Beausoleil is a visiting lecturer at Berkeley Haas. She teaches Fundamentals of Design Thinking, and Innovation Leadership by Design and leads applied research on innovation process design, navigation and management inside organizations. A former communications designer, senior strategist, and innovation lab executive, she applies her 25 years of industry experience to crafting high impact teaching, training, and learner-centered experiences. She is currently an assistant professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and was a senior lecturer of Design, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UBC’s Sauder School of Business. Beausoleil is the world’s first PhD to focus on innovation literacy (innovation-readiness) using design thinking processes and methods.
