Meet Our Financial Aid Team

Jamie Hayden

Director of Financial Aid

What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
“My family and I love our ‘urban hikes’ where we scour the streets of Oakland in search of the many secret staircases of the East Bay.”

What do you enjoy about your work?
“I love it when I have the opportunity to speak with a student, no matter where they are in their journey and am able to provide them with the clarity and guidance that they are searching for. Being able to lessen the stress and anxiety that often accompanies one’s pursuit of a graduate professional degree provides me with a great deal of satisfaction.”

Amber M. Harrold

Assistant Director of Financial Aid

What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
“Taking walks around Lake Merritt.”

What do you enjoy about your work?
“Eliminating financial barriers to higher education so that students can accomplish their goals.”

Mary Hoang

Assistant Director of Financial Aid

What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
“I love that I’m around many regional parks where I can hike locally as time permits.”

What do you enjoy about your work?
“I enjoy helping others to succeed in their goals. Regardless if they are my colleagues or most importantly, students; it makes me happy whenever I’m able to alleviate any possible stress for them.”

Bobbie Reyes

Financial Analyst

What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
“I love taking dance classes. There’s a large variety to choose from in a diverse area like the Bay.”

What do you enjoy about your work?
“I’m grateful I’m in a role that supports students in financial education and accessibility. It’s extra special when students share their stories and plans for the future.”
