UC Berkeley Haas’ new Center for Food Systems Innovation warmly welcomes you to join thought leaders, alumni, students, and industry partners for a day of connection, inspiration, and charting pathways for the future of Food Systems Innovation. Designed to identify opportunities and provide the conditions for their pursuit, the Summit will connect health, climate, equity, and finance through technological and social innovations with an eye toward systems level collaboration and leadership.

We invite you to co-create the summit by proposing a lightning talk, roundtable, or other session here (for berkeley.edu emails). We encourage alumni to share what they’re building, researchers to share their findings and observations, and anyone with a burning question or thorny challenge to propose a roundtable or panel discussion.

Emerging themes include competing paradigms (efficiency vs resilience, technology vs nature, scale vs local), emerging technologies, investment cycles, innovative finance, food is medicine, regenerative agriculture, and cultural change.
