DAR Events Team, Reunion Weekend – Rebecca Neu, Edrian Brooks, & Callum Rutherford

The DAR Events team executed an exceptional Reunion Weekend for MBA alumni, achieving a record-high Net Promoter Score of 60 – a 15-point increase over 2023 and the highest in 10 years of tracking. Despite operating with a 25% reduced staff due to the Director’s leave, the team delivered an inclusive and engaging program through outstanding internal collaboration and cross-school partnerships. Their innovative approach and focus on guest experience – from thoughtful communication to donor-focused events and consistent customer service – resulted in the best-attended reunion in over a decade. Alumni repeatedly praised the organization and staff’s attentiveness throughout the weekend, demonstrating the team’s exceptional dedication to innovation and collaboration in service of the Haas community.

Monica Colombo

Monica always excels at her job, but she has been an especially steady supporter of and collaborator with everyone in the Dean’s Office and throughout the school over the past month since Dean Harrison’s announcement. She has brought organizational precision, strategic foresight, considerate communication, and good cheer to the process, and it’s clear she will manage the transition to interim dean with aplomb. She is an essential colleague!

Welcome Reception Incoming MBA Students Team – Élida Bautista, Jenn Bridge, Sumayyah Alsabri, Sarah Dobson, Maria Martinez Madrigal, Ngoc Nguyen, Laura Benoit, Gina Garcia, & Stephanie Cheng

This team demonstrated exceptional leadership and crisis management during the Atlanta Consortium Orientation Program – Career Conference. Despite a citywide water outage affecting the conference, they successfully supported Haas’s largest incoming Consortium class of 60 students. Through constant communication and quick decision-making, they were the only institution to execute a school welcome meeting and community dinner. Their grit and student-centered approach ensured incoming FTMBA CGSM students felt fully supported throughout the challenging circumstances.
