Pam has spent her career in non-profit management working with mission driven organizations focused on impact. She has 25 years of experience working for educational and international non-profits, including Read Global, where she helped to build a sustainable development program to effectively deliver their programs to rural communities in South Asia. Prior to this, Pam served as a Development Director at Room to Read where she spent 6 years building a fundraising base that increased six-fold to support literacy and gender equality across Asia and Africa.
Before joining Room to Read, Pam worked in a range of positions for the Asia Society, an international organization dedicated to strengthening relationships and deepening understanding between Asia and the U.S. She founded the Asia Society Northern California and served as its Executive Director. Other positions include work with the Asia Foundation and Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships.
A Bay Area native, Pam received a M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in International Relations from Georgetown University.
