Dr. Siyuan Dai holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, specializing in compositional modeling and design of cyber-physical systems, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

For the past five years, Siyuan has been working as an Open Innovation Manager at Hyundai CRADLE, the corporate venture capital arm of Hyundai and KIA, building win-win collaborations and partnerships between startups and internal business units. Siyuan has led dozens of successful engagements from various technology verticals including sustainable materials, A.I. applications, sensors, infotainment, and Industry 4.0.
Prior to joining CRADLE, Siyuan worked as a Technology Scout for a Swiss tier 1 automotive supplier named Autoneum, identifying and analyzing industry trends that fit into Autoneum’s global product strategy.
